I had the most incredible opportunity to collaborate with Universal Music Singapore on a project that allowed me to combine my love for illustration and music. Together, we embarked on creating a visually stunning music video for the talented artist Finn Askew, and our focus was to showcase the diverse and captivating city of Singapore. From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to incorporate famous landmarks and iconic places that define Singapore's identity. I wanted the video to take viewers on a journey through the city, capturing its vibrant energy and unique charm. Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, and the Merlion were some of the key elements that I integrated into the illustrations, instantly recognizable symbols of Singapore's urban landscape. But it wasn't just about the cityscape. Singapore is known for its lush greenery and breathtaking gardens, so I made sure to highlight the abundant plant life that thrives within the city.

The vibrant orchids, the majestic Supertrees in Gardens by the Bay, and the serene beauty of the Singapore Botanic Gardens' National Orchid Garden all became integral parts of the visual narrative. I wanted to showcase the harmony between nature and the urban environment, emphasizing Singapore's commitment to sustainability and preserving its natural beauty. Throughout the video, I aimed to capture the essence of each location and intertwine it seamlessly with Finn Askew's music. I used vibrant colors, dynamic illustrations, and captivating storytelling techniques to create an immersive experience for the audience. The illustrations came to life, bringing together the sights and sounds of Singapore in a harmonious blend of art and music.
